When bad things happen in our lives, we often mourn the things and/or people that we have lost. The sense of security that we have built up is gone, our trust has taken a hit, our confidence isn’t what it use to be, and we feel powerless in the situation. We often sulk in our current position, forgetting who we are and whose we are. If something is removed from you, trust and know that God will replace it with something greater. Sometimes when you look back on all you have been through, you have to sit back and thank God for the things that He didn’t let go your way. He is the God who was, and is, and is to come. He knows the impact of every choice that you have made on your past, present, and future. He’s already seen what is going to happen to and for you. Granted you have the right of freewill and can choose whatever direction you want to, but He already has it worked out in your favor. No matter what has been taken from you, He can restore it.
Bring your broken pieces to Him, He is great at creating masterpieces from your pieces, messages from mess, and testimonies from your tests.
Isaiah 61: 3 states, “and provide for those who grieve in Zion– to bestow upon them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.”
